We want to give our golfers the best possible shopping experience and are committed to that. By having the right data on our customer, we are able to get a better idea of who you are and what you like. This gives us the opportunity to better provide our promotions, products, and services more specific to you.
These are a list of methods we will collect your personal data with explanations
- When processing any orders that you make by using our website or in store. Personal data collected during checkout allows us to complete transactions and to supply trusted third parties with the relevant information to supply and deliver your order. The information is then kept for a reasonable time afterwards to fulfil contractual obligations such as refunds, guarantees and warranties.
- When responding to any/all of your correspondence including questions, refund requests and complaints. Retaining information you send to us during these interactions allows us to respond accordingly and helps us to demonstrate how we communicated with you throughout the process. We do this to ensure you are receiving the best customer service experience and it also helps us to understand any areas where we need improvement in customer communication and service.
- To protect our business and your account from any fraudulent or illegal activities. We use your personal data to update and safeguard your account at all times. To swiftly identify and fix any issues regarding the integrity of our website, we may also monitor your browsing activity with us. This is all done as part of our legitimate interest and is a safeguard for you and for our business.
- When processing payments and attempting to prevent fraudulent transactions. This is done to not only protect our legitimate interests but to also protect you, our customer.
- To detect and prevent any fraudulent or unlawful activity. This can be done through our use of CCTV, fraud monitoring as well as transaction monitoring. Our main objective in doing so is to protect ourselves, our customers and our staff from unlawful or criminal acts.
- To keep you informed about our latest products and services as well as exclusive offers, competitions, discounts and events. This is done with your full consent, and allows us to keep in touch using your personal data, account details and preferences to contact you via email, web, telephone and text. It is your right to withdraw your consent to hearing from us by any/all of these channels at any time.
- When sending any communications required by law or that which are necessary to inform you about changes to the services we provide. This can include, but are not limited to, updates to this Privacy Notice, product recalls and any legally required information relating to your orders. Please note that these service messages will not include any marketing/promotional content and therefore do not require prior consent when sent via text message or email. We send these messages in order to comply with our legal obligation to you, our customer.
- When delivering the most relevant and interesting content directly to you on our website, we will use your personal data regarding your favourite brands, products, recent purchase histories, etc. This is achieved via your consent for our website to place cookies or similar technology on your device.
- When informing you if you have won any of our prize draws or competitions. This is based on your consent given at the time of entering said competition.
- When developing, testing and improving our systems and/or services. For example, we might record your browser’s Session ID to help us understand your customer journey on our website and to also help us assess any issues you are having. This is for our legitimate interests.
- When fulfilling our contractual and/or legal obligations to share data with law enforcement. We do this when we feel that disclosure is required by law or when we feel it is necessary to protect our own legal rights.
- When we send you a survey or questionnaire asking for feedback to help improve our services. As these messages do not contain any marketing/promotional material we do not require prior consent if sent by email or text.
How long do we keep your personal data?
GSF GolfSmart will only retain your personal data for as long as it is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. At the end of that retention period, your data will either be deleted completely or used in a non-identifiable way for statistical analysis and business planning.

When you place an order with GSF GolfSmart, we will keep the personal data you give us so that we can properly comply with our legal and contractual obligations.
If your order with GSF GolfSmart includes any warranty, the associated personal data will be kept until the end of that warranty period.
Who do we share your personal data with?
GSF GolfSmart strives to ensure your personal data is safe and secure at all times. Sometimes it is necessary to share this data with trusted third parties, including delivery couriers, those handling fraud management and complaints as well as those helping us to personalise our exclusive offers to you.
GSF GolfSmart requires all third party organizations to follow our strict policy to keep your data safe and to protect your privacy at all times. The policy includes:
- GSF GolfSmart provides only the information said third parties need to perform their specific services.
- Third parties may only use your data for the exact purposes we specify in our contract with them and we work closely with them to ensure that your privacy is respected and protected at all times.

- Direct marketing companies we hire to manage our communications

GSF GolfSmart does not share your data with any third parties for their own purposes. If this changes in the future, it will be updated on our policies.
Terms of service
We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Any such changes will take effect when posted on the website (see date at the top) and it is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions on each occasion you use this website and your continued use of the website shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.
If you are purchasing on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind said business on whose behalf you act, in using this website.
All orders that you place on this website will be subject to acceptance in accordance with these terms and conditions.
The 'confirmation' stage sets out the final details of your order. Following this, we will send you an order acknowledgement email, letting you know that your order has been received, stock is being re-checked and that we intend to process a payment from you. Please note that this email is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from GSF GolfSmart.
We do not file details of your order for you to subsequently access directly on this website, and therefore, please print out these terms and conditions and the order acknowledgement for your own records. If you wish to obtain specific details of your previous orders please contact us.
Please note that delivery times stated are accurate, and not guaranteed. This is because GSF GolfSmart rely on third party local and international couriers like City-Link and DHL to deliver products to your home or work. As such, factors that influence the ability of these companies to be on time, also affect us, and occasionally you. Previous examples include extreme weather conditions, or staff strikes or parcel sorting error at the depot or when the doors are not answered within a reasonable time etc. We work closely with all of our delivery partners to ensure that such occurrences are rare and make a minimal impact on our customers. In all cases we cannot be held responsible or liable for any delays in delivery. Where an express shipping charge was paid at time of ordering and the delivery has failed to arrive within the promised time, we will of course review each case and decide to refund this shipping amount paid on a case by case basis.
Delivery charges and estimated timescales are specified in the shipping section, and also when you place an order. We make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated timescales, however delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen factors affecting us or the third-party couriers we use. GSF GolfSmart shall be under no liability for any delay, or failure, to deliver the products within estimated timescales.
Once a tracking number has been emailed to you (a copy is also available online in your account section), it is your responsibility to monitor and track the status of your parcel. If you notice any problems, for example - Address Not Found, Failed Delivery, Recipient Absent, etc, then please contact us immediately so we can assist with the resolution. Failed-delivery parcels are normally held at a local depot for a number of maximum days before returning back to us. It is therefore your responsibility to contact us in good time to advise us of this situation in order to stop any return. We take no responsibility for parcels returned to us after successive delivery attempts and any return charges will be passed to you.
If the package has not been accepted, or rejected outside the valid reasons stated in 3.3, during delivery, the respective courier will make a return charge to GSF GolfSmart. This charge will be required to be paid before processing a re-delivery, or will be retained if order has been cancelled.
In the event where deliveries have failed due to incorrect address specified or if no one is available to accept delivery at time when courier attempts to deliver goods, the courier will hold the goods at their depot for a small period of time (anytime between 3-5 days). If a card has been left by the courier requesting you to contact them, you are requested to contact them to arrange a re-delivery at same address at a suitable time. Failure to do so quickly (normally within 2 working days) may cause the parcel to be returned back to us. Although every effort is made to ensure goods are delivered to you in good time and at address specified, certain circumstances may fail deliveries (for e.g. unable to find address or no one to accept parcel etc). In order to solve such problems during delivery or if you wish to advise us of a change of delivery address after goods have been shipped, you are requested to contact us on the first occasion. Normally a charge is incurred for amendments of delivery addresses, which can be accepted by yourself or you may simply arrange to collect the goods from the courier depot where possible without any charges. Failure to do so or if you advise a change of address directly with the courier without notifying us will incur an additional charge which will be passed on to you unless we have already authorised this change with the courier.
Upon delivery it is your responsibility to check the package and its contents thoroughly. If you notice any signs of security tape damage, theft or attempt for theft, damage of goods or any unacceptable condition of package and its contents you are requested not to accept the package. If you are willing to accept the package then you are requested to sign on the delivery note what you have noticed for e.g. Goods Damaged or Theft Attempt etc. Please note: failure to comply with these terms will prevent you making any claims against the above conditions and credit will not be issued.
Risk of loss and damage to products is passed on to you on the date when the products are delivered, or on the date of first attempted delivery by our delivery agents. Please note that in cases where there has been lack of cooperation after our first delivery attempt to collect from a local depot or neighbour or failure to arrange a redelivery, GSF GolfSmart will block accounts and put additional security measures to prevent further risk of this nature.
GSF GolfSmart reserves the right to withdraw delivery to you for whatever reason. There could be a number of reasons for example : failure to deliver by courier on multiple attempts, customer unwilling to compromise or is unreasonable in his/her demands, or failure to work with us in a professional and fair manner to resolve failures etc. In such cases we will call the parcel back to our depot and a courier will return it back to us. A full refund will be issued, but only once the goods have been returned back to us or 28 days from the date of withdrawal whichever is sooner, or when the goods have been confirmed to be lost or stolen by the delivery agent.
When goods are requested to be left outside, any loss, damage or theft of the goods are passed on to you. This means that GSF GolfSmart will under no circumstance accept any claims for loss, theft or damage once goods are delivered. It remains your responsibility to provide us with a secured delivery address or premise in order to avoid such cases. We will of course pass on any such reported cases back to the courier and will advise you if they can provide any evidence of delivery, or if there is any appetite for them to accept a claim in very special cases.
Prior to taking payment from your card, we implement a card and stock verification process, to ensure that the request for goods is genuine and that we have confirmed stock availability. All goods are subject to availability. In the event that we are unable to supply the goods, we will inform you of this as soon as possible. A full refund will be given where you have already paid for the goods and if no goods have been already dispatched. Refund of payment does not apply to personalised, custom-made or custom fitted goods.
While we try and ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price, or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel, and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.

All prices include taxes (where applicable) at the applicable current rates but exclude delivery charges, unless expressly stated. For further details, including Express delivery charges, see shipping.
Please note the tax rate included is local to Malaysia. This rate (and the final price you pay) may change if your order is being shipped to another country, as we may be obliged to charge export taxes at the local rate in your country of destination.
We offer a 30 day money back guarantee. Some products are excluded from the 30 Day Money Back Guarantee. These would normally include personalised and custom fitted products. In addition, all GSF GolfSmart products are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for a maximum of 12 months. Your statutory rights are unaffected. We do not offer extended warranties on products that we sell. However some manufacturers may give you an opportunity to extend warranty on their products by way of registration with them. In such cases GSF GolfSmart are not responsible to manage or handle claims after the initial 12 month warranty. You will have to sign-up and make claims directly with the manufacturer in these instances.
Sometimes the product specifications from the manufacturer may change, in which case we will do our best to offer you a substitute of the same or better quality at the same price. If you are not happy with the replacement you can return it in accordance with our 30 day money back guarantee. Please note any courier charges will be retained where the fault has not been or resulted from GSF GolfSmart.
All sizes and measurements are approximate. We strive to describe dimensions as accurately as possible, but fit variances can occur from person to person.
Please note that faulty or defective items highlighted to us after the 30 Day Money Back Guarantee time will not be eligible for a refund. GSF GolfSmart will replace or exchange all faulty products in accordance with the manufacturer's warranty. If the identical size or model is no longer available then we will exchange for an equivalent make/model.
If you receive goods that you feel are not as stated, do not satisfy your requirements, or are not up to your standards (for example, superficial marks on packaging or product, dust etc) we are happy to offer a refund on the value of the goods. To claim this you must advise us of this within 30 days of delivery, and ensure we receive your goods back in the original condition they arrived in. Please note that all delivery costs already incurred will be retained before passing refund. Please note that we offer a discounted shipping rate structure to offer you great value, and in order to continue doing so, we are unable to pass you a full refund, as the actual shipping cost will be retained before passing refund.
Although every effort is made in checking all goods before dispatch, on some very rare occasions we may mistakenly ship an incorrect product, or one with a fault we did not catch due to the level of packaging that comes with new products. If this has happened to you, we apologise in advance and request your cooperation in helping us resolve this. Once an incorrect or faulty delivery has been received it is your responsibility to complete the online returns procedure (after which further instructions will be emailed back) or to advise us of this within 7 working days after delivery. Once a return-request has been accepted, you are requested to send goods back to us (via your local post-office or courier or whichever more cost-effective). The return-shipping cost incurred to you will be settled in the form of a refund or credit vouchers only for the value of the shipping amount that you paid at time of ordering (as similarly operated when returned in-store). If the cost of sending goods back to us is reasonably high, then we request that you to contact us so that we may offer our resources in getting the product back to us in a cost effective manner. We will do our level best to compensate you for your costs in the form of goods or gift vouchers, however we regret to advise you that we are unable to compensate you fully where the cost of return is not viable.
Although we stock the best quality products, sometimes faults may be discovered after purchase. GSF GolfSmart offers a guarantee against manufacturer faults for a maximum of 1 year from the date of first delivery. Faulty products are required to be sent back for fault examination. If a genuine manufacturer fault is established, we will send the replacement that may be either repaired or exchanged. If an identical replacement is not available, we will offer an alternative product of similar value.
Most manufacturers will void the product warranty if it has been altered in any way. For example if the shaft of the club has been altered, or if the product has been altered without our consent. Due to the high technical nature of golf clubs, most manufacturers will only cover you against manufacturer defects if they have been customised by the manufacturer or through GSF GolfSmart. In our experience, we have found that use of unauthorised fitting centres or inexperienced club-fitters could result in a poor quality product, and therefore more likely to attain a defect.
Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability which may not otherwise be limited, or excluded under applicable law.
Subject to Section 6.1 above, GSF GolfSmart will use reasonable endeavours to verify the accuracy of any information on the site but makes no representation or warranty of any kind express or implied statutory or otherwise regarding the contents or availability of the site or that it will be timely or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the site or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs or represents the full functionality, accuracy, reliability of the website GSF GolfSmart will not be responsible or liable to you for any loss of content or material uploaded or transmitted through the website and GSF GolfSmart accepts no liability of any kind for any loss or damage from action taken or taken in reliance on material or information contained on the site.
Subject to Section 6.1 above, other than as expressly provided in these terms and conditions with respect to specific products and except for the exclusive remedies set out at Section 5 above, any indemnities, warranties, terms and conditions (whether express or implied) are hereby excluded to the fullest extent permitted under applicable law.
Subject to Section 6.1 above, GSF GolfSmart will not be liable, in contract, tort (including, without limitation, negligence), pre-contract or other representations (other than fraudulent on negligent misrepresentations) or otherwise out of or in connection with the terms and conditions for any:
- economic losses (including without limitation loss of revenues, data, profits, contracts, business or anticipated savings); or
- loss due to currency exchange-rate fluctuations (we take payment in Ringgit Malaysia RM and currency exchange rates fluctuate constantly in which case we cannot be held liable for loss of value in foreign currency during payment authorisations and refunds as value will remain the same in RM Ringgit Malaysia); or
- loss of goodwill or reputation; or
- special or indirect losses
- suffered or incurred by that party arising out of, or in connection with, the provisions of any matter under these terms and conditions.
Notwithstanding the above, subject to Section 6.1 GSF GolfSmart aggregate liability (whether in contract, tort or otherwise) for loss or damage shall in any event be limited to a sum equal to the amount paid or payable by you for the product(s) in respect of one incident or series of incidents attributable to the same clause.
This clause 6 does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, nor does it affect your contract cancellation rights.
We will take all reasonable precautions to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but, unless we are negligent, we cannot be held liable for any losses caused as a result of unauthorised access to information provided by you.
The contract between us shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia and any dispute between us will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Malaysia. English is the only language offered for the conclusion of the contract.
We have selected our products on the basis that they will be used for domestic use only. If you are planning to use them for business purposes please make sure that you are covered by appropriate insurance.
GSF GolfSmart shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver products, or otherwise perform any obligation as specified in these terms and conditions, if the same is wholly or partly caused whether directly or indirectly by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
To provide increased value to our customers, we may provide links to other websites or resources for you to access at your sole discretion. You acknowledge and agree that, as you have chosen to enter the linked website we are not responsible for the availability of such external sites or resources, and do not review or endorse and are not responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for (i) the privacy practices of such websites, (ii) the content of such websites, including (without limitation) any advertising, content, products, goods or other materials or services on or available from such websites or resources or (iii) the use to which others make of these websites or resources, nor for any damage, loss or offence caused or alleged to be caused by, or in connection with, the use of or reliance on any such advertising, content, products, goods or other materials or services available on such external websites or resources.
You may not assign or subcontract any of your rights or obligations under these terms and conditions or any related order for products to any third party unless agreed upon in writing by GSF GolfSmart.
GSF GolfSmart reserves the right to transfer, assign or subcontract the benefit of the whole or part of any of its rights or obligations under these terms and conditions or any related contract to any third party.
If any portion of these terms and conditions is held by any competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, the validity or enforceability of the other sections of these terms and conditions shall not be affected.
These terms and conditions do not create or confer any rights or benefits enforceable by any person that is not a party
At GSF GolfSmart we believe in building a strong and sustainable community that works for all our customers. In order for us to continue providing the best possible services we require a good partnership and cooperation from our customers. We therefore reserve the right to terminate and/or suspend any account without any notice. In such cases all existing contracts or obligations will be met. Examples of such cases include violation to our guidelines including but not exclusive to: abuse of our services, threats or abuse made towards our staff, delivery partners can no longer offer services to an address or postcode, false delivery discrepancies reported, fraud or insecure addresses provided, invalid/unjustified and/or false claims made against our company. We never take these decisions lightly and we take action only when appropriate to protect the experience for all our customers. If you believe we’ve made an error, we encourage you to contact us directly so we can review the account and take appropriate action.
GSF is capable of shipping to any physical address in Malaysia and globally. All shipping rates will be calculated per order based on the parcel(s) weight, dimensions and its destination. Your applicable fees will be automatically calculated and displayed in the order summary during your checkout process. At GSF, we want to make sure that you have the best online golf shopping experience possible. If for any reason you are not completely happy with your purchase, you may return the product following our online returns procedure.
Product Defects Returns (Faulty Goods)
If a product is to be found defective or faulty on arrival, customers must contact us within 30 days after delivery. GSF will arrange a shipping back to us for inspection and will be subject to a full refund, store credit, a replacement, or a unique procedure applicable to the item. If an item is returned and discovered not to be faulty or defective, you will not be eligible for a refund or a free return shipping. A delivery cost will have to be agreed to deliver back to you or you can collect it at our retail store.
Products Excluded from Returns
Generally, we do not offer refunds on the following items:

Conditions of Returns
Please ensure the returned item(s) are in the original packaging with all tags still attached and in a perfect condition. We hope you are satisfied with the product purchased, but if it does not suit you, we hope we could sell it to someone else in the same condition you received it in.
Item(s) should be packaged securely before sending it back to us to avoid any damage in delivery to us. All returns to GSF will need a unique reference number which will be given upon approval of the return request.
Customers are also bound to incur the cost of shipping the returned products to us at all costs.
Products Returned outside of Malaysia
Orders returned to us from outside of Malaysia may have a customs charge applied when goods re-enter Malaysia. International customers intend to return the goods and should bear all necessary charges and costs in delivering back to us
Refunds on products will be processed on any payout methods GSF preferred. We do not offer refunds on shipping costs and payment surcharges. Refunds are automatically calculated for the value of the goods when it was paid by the customer.
All GSF customers are allowed to visit any of our in-store to return the returned item(s) upon approval by GSF authorised personnel only .
Manufacturers have a standard warranty. As a retailer, we will honour the manufacturer’s terms in accordance. Please look for details on individual items to see which product these terms apply to.
